Identifying and Exploiting Vulnerabilities
Accuvant LABS security research team does this analysis for you, proactively and non-maliciously attacking the business applications, operating systems and infrastructure that is available in the marketplace. Our team spends thousands of hours each year researching and testing security technologies, going over code, analyzing business software and determining the reliability and robustness of the technology we recommend to our clients. We also scour the globe and cyberspace for new threats such as viruses, worms and malware. We then analyze the threats to determine how they work and how to prevent them from infecting our clients’ IT environments.
Sharing is Caring
When vulnerabilities and threats are found we’re quick to issue public disclosures to warn the community at large that their information assets could be at risk of exposure. We’re not out to take down vendors or embarrass them by exploiting their code. Accuvant shares our auditing information with software and hardware vendors and help them close the security loopholes during their development and product assessment processes. The goal of our proactive analysis is to prevent vulnerabilities from being created in the first place and, failing that, educating our systems engineers and account managers within Accuvant—as well as our clients and the public—about the vulnerabilities.
